O'Leary Walker Wines latest
releases.

The New Release O'Leary Walker Wines are out and we have them on tasting this weekend. Be among the first to taste some of the first 2007 Rieslings to be seen out there. 2007 is shaping up right next to 2005 and 2002 as an outstanding Riesling vintage
in Clare and Eden Valley.
Here's a little bit about David O'Leary and Nick Walker -
Bothhave graduated from Roseworthy Agricultural College in 1980 and 1982 respectively and have worked for larger companiesfor over 20 years.
David pent time working for Heemskirk wines, Chateau Reynella,
Hardys and Mildara Blass. He claimed the 1988 Jimmy Watson Trophy and twice has been awarded International Red winemaker of the year in 1992 and 1994.
Nick has had enormous success making some of the great Eden Valley Rieslings at Krondorf Wines, made sparkling wine for Yellowglen and was Chief Winemaker of Yarra Ridge. Together they aim to make the best wine they can. Pretty simple really.
We've been supporting O'Leary Walker since their inception in 2001, especially for their Rieslings and you will find that the '07's
are some of the best they have produced together. In fact Nick Walker says that his Watervale Riesling is the best one that he has made.

River Riesling
Honey blossom, lime and minerals unique to the soil it's
grown in. Seamless balance
across the palate. Better than the '06.

Watervale Riesling
A little more lively on the palate. Fresh lemon and lime citrus,
with a steely acid backbone
for length. Nick Walker says this is the best Watervale that
he has made!

2005 O'Leary Walker Clare Valley
Cabernet Sauvignon
Clare Valley can often do mighty Cabernet Sauvignon and here is proof. Black fruits of powerful concentration and deft use of oak
combine harmoniously. Smooth fruit
tannins finish the wine and the flavours don't leave you.

2004 O'Leary Walker Clare Valley
McLaren Vale Shiraz
Clare Valley 75% and McLaren Vale 25% combine to give opulent aromas of mocha, plums, anise and spice.
The palate has intense fruit flavours
of blackberries and plums laced with liqorice and coffee. Terriffic to drink now but another 5 years wil really show
even more balance and complexity.
